Firethorn Ref sheet

This is Firethorn, a female long haired Dalmatian.  She's part of a search and rescue team, going into buildings and houses after natural disasters.

Despite being an alpha female and staying on top of things when the situation calls for it, she does have trust issues, mostly because of what happened to her when she was a puppy.  Aside from that, she's an intelligent and kind hearted dog. She considers Kailani, a young Flat Coated Retriever her sister even though they aren't related but grew up together. Firethorn is also the name of a bush known for it's bright red and semi-poisonous berries.


If anyone asks, long haired Dalmatians do exist. Sadly they aren't recognized by any kennel club. These dogs fall into the category of breeds that can have both smooth and long coats including: Dacshunds, Chihuahuas, Salukis and others.
